Is Mahjong Solitaire the same as traditional four-player Mahjong?
No. Mahjong Solitaire is a single-player matching puzzle. You remove matching free tiles until the board is clear; it does not use the rules of the traditional four-player game.
What is a free tile?
A tile is free when no tile sits on top of it and at least one long side—the left or right—is open. Only free tiles can be matched.
Does the game have a timer?
There is no time pressure. You can pause, look carefully, and finish each layout at your own pace.
Can I play without an internet connection?
